Gringo’S Mexican Kitchen {Stafford}

Burrito and shrimp fajitas were delicious. The waiter was also very friendly. I think his name was major.

I'm not a big fan of commercial chain restaurants so I haven't been back to Gringos in a long time. These restaurants are usually generic in esthetics, food is mediocre, and the staff could care less about the guest experience. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to have the complete opposite experience during this last visit. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the bartender was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere and ambiance was clean and felt greater effort was made to be truly authentic. The food was absolutely delicious paired with a refreshing ranch water the marisco bowl made my lunch experience one of the best. Of course could leave without grabbing a trademark complementary Gringos soft serve on the way out. Great job Gringos restaurant and staff. Kudos to the Bolivian bartender for being so hospitable.

Darryl was great and friendly. His service was on point. Food was delicious, I always order the pollo marisco. We also tried the limited time chile hatch enchiladas. Everything was great, the only con was that my brother's piña colada tasted very watered down, no flavor. Other than that, will of course continue coming back!

Came in from Florida wanted true authentic Mexican Food. I found it! This restaurant is amazing! Great prices, great food, and incredible Margaritas! When I come back to Texas I will definitely be back to Gringos!

Chelsee took great care of us at Gringos. She was friendly, patient, and checked in at the right times without ever rushing us. The food was also very good, I had the Flautas! You can tell she enjoys what she does. Thanks, Chelsee, for making our night better ⭐

Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and that unmistakable smell of fresh Tex-Mex. The chips and green sauce alone are worth the visit—so addictive, I could eat a whole bowl by myself! I ordered the fajita combo plate, and it came out sizzling hot with perfectly seasoned meats, grilled veggies, and warm tortillas on the side. Every bite was bursting with flavor. The portions are generous, and the presentation is always spot-on. My friend got the enchiladas verdes and said it was one of the best she’s had in a long time. We also tried the queso and margaritas—both were top-tier. You can tell everything is made fresh, and the ingredients taste high-quality. The service was fast, friendly, and very attentive without being overbearing. Our server made great recommendations and checked on us just the right amount. The vibe is fun, family-friendly, and perfect for everything from casual dinners to celebrations. Gringo’s has easily become one of my go-to spots for Mexican food in the area. Great food, great service, and great energy every time. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Tex-Mex done right!

My recent visit to Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen in Stafford was an absolute delight, and it truly exceeded my expectations! I had been craving their unique green "salsa" for ages, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. The moment I arrived, I was pleased to find easy parking and was seated immediately, which was a great start to the meal. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, making for a really enjoyable dining experience. The food was simply outstanding. We started with the hot and fresh chips and perfectly balanced salsas. The chicken enchiladas were superb, served with generous portions of rice, and the tacos were impressively massive and incredibly flavorful – a welcome change from smaller street-style tacos. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, showcasing the quality ingredients. Even the self-serve ice cream machine was a fantastic treat to round off the meal. What truly impressed me was the genuine care for customers. Despite a minor billing hiccup (which was quickly and professionally resolved by a very nice and apologetic manager), it was clear that the team genuinely cares about ensuring a positive experience. Our server, Kai, was attentive and provided great food suggestions, making our dinner even better. Gringo’s offers an experience that feels much more special than most restaurants. While it might be a little pricey, the exceptional food, wonderful atmosphere, and evident dedication to customer satisfaction make it absolutely worth every penny. I highly recommend giving Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen a try!
